“I don’t design just houses. I design a better way of life. For years I’ve been inspired by the Mediterranean—its light, climate, and natural way of living. I believe in an honest approach based on respect—for people, for nature, and for the environment in which a home is created. We work with natural materials, especially wood, which naturally regulates the indoor climate and creates a healthy living environment. Combined with modern technologies such as photovoltaic systems, heat recovery ventilation, and heat pumps, we create homes that are energy-efficient, comfortable, and sustainable in the long term,” says Ales Fibinger.
The reality of housing today is, above all, high costs, lengthy construction, and homes that do not respond technologically to current needs or to the market’s possibilities.
“At oleeee, we decided to approach architecture differently. I understand what people need today: to live without unnecessary waiting, without stress, and with a clear budget. A key part of our approach is the execution itself. Thanks to prefabrication and modern production technologies, we can manufacture homes quickly, precisely, and without unnecessary complications—which significantly shortens construction time and eliminates unexpected costs,” continues architect Fibinger. “A timber structure is cheaper than concrete or masonry. Our production is fast and without additional costs. Construction takes place in a controlled factory environment and is not dependent on the weather. Your home can be ready in as little as 4 months.”
When building homes, it is important to consider risks associated with a worsening climate, such as earthquakes, strong winds, or frequent fires. A properly designed, resilient structure helps protect residents and property from these hazards. “I realize that we live in a time of change—climatic as well as social. Fires, floods, strong winds, dust storms (calima), and questions of housing safety are now a real part of decision-making. That’s why I design homes that are thought through not only aesthetically but also functionally—with an emphasis on safety, resilience, and long-term value. We place strong emphasis on energy efficiency. Villa Michelangelo is designed as a solid, compact structure with very good static properties, making it suitable even for more challenging terrain. The delivery includes coordination of the preparation of utility connections, foundation structures, and the site to which the villa is subsequently connected. The production process takes no more than 4 months, and the overall time from the first client meeting to moving in is typically less than half a year. “My goal is to create housing that makes sense—economically, ecologically, and on a human level.
